The lake of swans

The lake of Swans is one of the classical and traditional ballets known world wide. The dance is about love and magic, having in it the eternal fight of the good and the bad. Its principal characters are: the prince Sigfrido that falls in love with Odette, a young girl turned into a swan by the evil magician Von Rothbart and Odile, the black swan and daughter of the magician.

Its first presentation took place in the Theatre Bolshói of Moscou with the coreography of Julius Reisinger the 4 th  May 1877.

This ballet is formed by a small story transformed in art separated in diferent acts.

Personal opinion:

When I read this dance I seemed incredible to me. The fourth separated dances in diferent adventures are sorrounded with love and the fantasy between the different characters, specialy between Odette and Sigfidro. The sinopsis is very interesant.
